    What is the minimum order quantity?

    For each range, you can order single cases of a product to make a mixed pallet. Minimum order quantities apply for each range as follows:

  • Placing an order

    How do I place an order?

    The easiest way to place an order is to use your Personalised List from which you can generate an electronic order form (Excel spreadsheet). Enter in the required quantities and then email it back to your Account Manager.

    Log on and go to My Account. Your Personalised Lists will be listed under My Products.

    We will process your order and send you a quotation, including freight costs, for your final approval.

    If you do not have email please contact your Account Manager to make alternative arrangements.

    For books and greeting cards, please log on and download the order form.

  • My quotation

    I am happy with my order. How do I approve my order quotation?

    The easiest way to approve your quote is by logging on and going to My Quotations, under My Account.

    A list of outstanding quotations and their status will appear. Click Approve next to the quotation you would like to approve. You will then receive a copy of the order confirmation by email.


    How long is my order quotation valid for?

    Printed on each quotation is the expiry date. If you wish to proceed with your order, you will need to confirm your acceptance before this date.

    The easiest way to approve your quote is by logging on and going to My Quotations, under My Account.


    My quotation has expired. How do I get a new quote?

    Log on to My Account and go to My Quotations. Click on Re-quote next to the applicable order. Your Account Manager will be in contact with a new quotation.

  • Payment

    How can I pay for my order?

    We can accept a variety of payment methods. Please contact your Account Manager to discuss your options.

  • Prices

    Can I see prices on the website?

    Please log in with your user name and password to see prices.


    What is a price period?

    For many of our products, we operate a three-weekly price period. Prices from period to period may increase or decrease, when manufacturer's change their prices. For this reason, we are unable to guarantee prices.

    Printed on each order quotation is the expiry date. Quotations must be approved before this date for the prices to be honoured. Goods must also leave the warehouse within 48 hours of the "Effective Until" date printed on your quotation.

  • Seasonal orders

    Why do I have to order my seasonal products in advance?

    Seasonal products such as Easter and Christmas are only available for a limited period. Stock is produced to order by the manufacturers and they require goods to be ordered in advance.

    When can I order Seasonal products?

    Our Seasonal products are very popular and include favourites such as mince pies, Christmas puddings and chocolate Easter eggs.

    Seasonal products are available by advanced order. Approximate ordering periods are:

    • Christmas and Halloween: June - July
    • Easter, Valentine's and Mother's Day: October - November
  • Value Added Tax (VAT)

    Will I have to pay Value Added Tax (VAT)?

    UK based customers will be required to pay current UK Value Added Tax on all standard-rated goods.

    European Union (EU) based customers are exempt from VAT only if they have advised Ramsden International of their registered VAT number and it has been confirmed to be valid.

    Check if you have a registered VAT number.

    Customers based outside of the EU and UK are zero-rated and therefore not required to pay VAT.
